Geodrain is a kind of geocomposites manufactured to evacuate infiltrating water and filter fine particles. Geodrain is a two-core drainage sheet consisting of a non-woven geotextile filter layer thermally welded to a water impermeable HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) drainage membrane. Resistance to temperature from -30oC to +90oC ,Resistance to compression 200kN/m2 are the main features of geodrain.
Application of Geodrain
- It is used in parking floor drain and foundations in places with high water levels.
- It is used in roofs of buildings (green roof) and the green spaces and stadiums.
- It is used in landfills and petrochemical sites to guide fluid contaminants.
